The Pastor and Spiritual head of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide Rev. Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa has declared Thursday 23rd May as a day for Prayer and fasting for all members of the Church and Christians in general to pray for the Almighty God's divine intervention in the situation of the Country.
According to the CCC Pastor, "as stated in the book of psalm 122vs 6, where the people of old are told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, this is our own Jerusalem and as Christians we must pray to God to come and see the country thru all these Socio Political/ Insecurity issues, not forgetting the Boko Haram insurgence,bombings here and there and the kidnap of our young girls.
We really need divine intervention,also we must not shy away from the fact that the Government need our prayers always because uneasy lies the heads that wear the crown, unless God watches over the Nation, the Watchmen does it in vain".
