SUSPECTED DRUG TRAFFICKER SWALLOWS 126 WRAPS OF HEROIN

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos have apprehended a suspected drug trafficker over alleged ingestion of 126 wraps of narcotics. The drug which weighed 2.225kg is the highest single ingestion since January 2013. Narcotic officials placed the suspect on observation when he tested positive to drug ingestion during the inward screening of Qatar Airline passengers on his way from Pakistan.

NDLEA Commander at the Lagos Airport, Mr Hamza Umar gave the name of the suspect as Nweke Gabriel Nwobodo. “We have arrested one Nweke Gabriel Nwobodo for ingesting 126 wraps of substances found to be heroin weighing 2.225kg. This is the highest quantity ingested by a suspect since the beginning of the year. The case is currently under investigation” Hamza stated.

The 33 year old suspect who sells electronics at Trade Faire Complex and Computer Village in Lagos says he was duped and he wanted to raise money from drug trafficking. In his words, “I sell electronics in Lagos but I lost 11,200 dollars to fraudsters. This affected my business and in the process of trying to get money to revamp my business I was introduced into drugs. If I had succeeded, I would have been paid 1.8 million naira. I spent only one week in Pakistan. My only regret is my pregnant wife who is due to put to birth soon”. Nweke hails from Ebonyi State. He is married with two children.

In his reaction, NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Ahmadu Giade expressed concern on the risk of drug ingestion. “The ingestion of drugs by traffickers is very disturbing because many have died in the process. Just a wrap is deadly and here we have one person ingesting 126 wraps of what could take his life in few minutes. Members of the public should shun drug trafficking and report any suspected trafficker to the Agency” Giade urged.

The NDLEA boss added that the Agency will continue to frustrate any move to raise capital from drug trafficking.

NDLEA INTERCEPTS 55.6KG OF NARCOTICS, ARRESTS THREE SUSPECTS

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted 55.6kg of narcotics at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos. Three suspects including two licensed clearing and forwarding agents have also been apprehended. The illicit shipments include 43.6kg of cannabis meant for export to China and 12kg of methamphetamine being smuggled to South Africa. The drug which was hidden inside foodstuff and artificial hair was detected by NDLEA officers during screening.

NDLEA Airport Commander, Mr Hamza Umar described the seizure as the highest cannabis seizure since January 2013. “This 43.6kg is the highest cannabis seizure since the beginning of the year. Like several seizures made in the past, the cannabis was hidden inside foodstuff. The drug was discovered during routine examination. The suspects include Keita Mamady, 38, who was arrested with 43.6kg cannabis as well as two clearing agents Samuel Williams, 40, and Adams Adewunmi Samuel, 35 who were arrested in connection with the shipment of 12kg of methamphetamine” Hamza stated.

One of the suspects who hail from Anambra State by name Sylvester Nnamdi Augustine was caught with a Guinea International passport bearing Keita Mamady. According to the suspect, the drug was to be delivered in Hong Kong while he will proceed to Guangzhou. “I was told to deliver the drug in Hong Kong on my way to Guangzhou. Unfortunately, the drug was discovered by the NDLEA officers at the luggage checking desk. I am a business man and I live in Guinea where I obtained my passport” Keita stated.

Samuel Williams who is a clearing agent collected the consignment from a member of the drug syndicate and gave it to his colleague to export to South Africa. The drug was found hidden inside female artificial hair. According to Samuel Williams, “My friend in South Africa called me to send some hair attachment to him. When they brought the package to me, I then gave it to my colleague on export desk because I specialise in import clearance” Samuel who hails from Delta State told investigators.

His colleague, Adams Adewunmi Samuel who hails from Ogun State also told officers that he was invited to send the package to South Africa by Samuel Williams. “I was given the package by Samuel Williams. It was during examination that NDLEA officers detected the drugs inside the hair attachment” he stated.

Chairman/Chief Executive of the Agency, Ahmadu Giade said that were it not for the intervention of NDLEA officers, the suspect going to China would have joined many others languishing in foreign prisons over drug trafficking offences. “The Agency will do its best to prevent Nigerians from engaging in drug trafficking. We shall intensify screening at all entry and exit points in the country. Most importantly, this arrests and seizures should serve as warning to others contemplating drug trafficking. The Agency will prosecute any person found in possession of drugs. Licensed agents must endeavour to know their customers” Giade stated.

All suspects will soon be charged to court.

President Approves 167Billion For Lag-Ib Expressway

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan today disclosed that the reconstruction of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway was withdrawn from the Bi Courtney company due to evident non performance by the construction firm.
The road which is about 127.8 kilometers will cost N167 billion.
Jonathan stated this during the flagging-off ceremony for the reconstruction of the expressway.
The new companies that will be handling the reconstruction  are Julius Berger Plc and Reynold Construction Company, RCC.

President Jonathan  arrived the venue in the same helicopter marked Nigerian Air Force NAF 540 with Governor Ibikunle Amosun at exactly 10:15am, with the Governor later complaining that he was not officially informed about the ceremony. According to him, he learnt about it on TV.
Earlier before his arrival, the Inspector General of Police,Mohammed Abubakar had arrived in a Police helicopter marked 5N- KSH at 10:00am followed by the Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Azubuike Ihejirieka who was on Nigerian Army helicopter marked NAF 573 accompanied by another Army helicopter, NAF 571.
Speaking at the event, which was turned into a political carnival by the South West PDP,  Jonathan however dampened enthusiasm when he revealed that the road will be completed in the next 48months, meaning the agony on the road will  ontinue till 2017. Jonathan sued for patience by the road users.
“This road is very important to us because it is the busiest road in Africa and fifty percent of the economic activities in the countty are carried out between Lagos and Ogun States. The reconstruction was also being  necessitated by the increasing level of carnage or death tolls along the express road”, Jonathan stated.
He later commended the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for the infrastructural development his administration has embarked upon, which according to him, has changed the face of Ogun State.
In his address at the event, Governor Amosun  lauded the federal government for the bold step, charging them to extend the gesture   to other major roads in the State which are also important for everyday business of the people.
According to Amosun:  “I have to commend the federal government for the bold step taken in ensuring that this road is being attended to, but I have to let Mr President know that there are two other major roads that need urgent attention in the State. The 25kilometre Sagamu-Mosimi-Ikorodu road and Sagamu Interchange- Papalanto road. It is worthy to be noted that about 70percent of the petroleum products used in the country is being lifted from Mosimi area while Papalanto area is where the Olorunsogo Power Plant is being located. The federal government should as a matter of urgency come to these roads for the benefits of all the people”.
Among the dignitaries at the event are the Minister for Works, Arch. Mike Onolememen, Minister of State for Works, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda, Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Works, Dr. A.K. Muhammed.
Party leaders and supporters from the southwestern States of Nigeria were at the event which was marred with political rivalry that nearly ended in a fight.
President Jonathan left the venue at exactly 11:15am in accompany of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

         The Church Secretary,
          Deeper Christain Life Ministry
LETTER OF APOLOGY
John and Love Kumuyi, write to express our deepest and most sincere apology for the turn of events, that have resulted on our traditional and wedding ceremonies, that took place in Jamaica on 13th June and 15th June, 2013 respectively.
We unreservedly and wholeheartedly state, that we did not intend that our acts or omissions will in any way undermine the great works that God has done through the Deeper Christian Life Ministry Worldwide and more specifically , through our Father in the Lord, the General Superintendent (GS).
We also use this medium to profusely and sincerely apologies to the general superintendent for the embarrassment and heartaches our actions have caused him, more so that he had earlier declined to be at the events.
We acknowledge that we may have been distracted by cultural differences, as both of us have been outside the country for the past two decades. This notwithstanding, we fully accept that having being nurtured, taught and brought up with the sound teaching of the word of God, we should have been able to draw the line, which we failed to do.

We have now realized the effects of our actions and omission and do plead with the church for forgiveness and also appealing that any action that should be taken be directed at John and Love, as we take this time to prayerfully reflect on our actions.
We take full responsibility for what happened, and this action should in no way be blamed on the GS, or the leaders of the church in Nigeria, United States, Jamaica or United Kingdom and beyond.
Yours Sincerely,
John and Love Kumuyi

Customers Laud Diamond Bank for Enhanced Service Delivery

Customers of Diamond Bank Plc have commended the management and staff of the bank for their unrelenting efforts at ensuring customers' satisfaction. The commendation came at the bank’s customers’ forum held recently at 10 Degrees Event Centre Ikeja, Lagos.
At the forum which was attended by captains of industry and owners of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSME), the customers stated that the bank’s continued focus on customers’ satisfaction has resulted in significant improvements and very impressive service delivery.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Stina Agro and Allied Industries Limited, Mr. Austine Ajoku emphasized that he and other customers that he had interacted with were enthralled with the bank’s excellent service.
“We are very impressed with Diamond Bank because before we declare our intentions they already have answers.  Our only challenge is the number of branches which we can see that they are working on already. For more than six years, they have been giving me excellent services, I have other banks but I prefer Diamond Bank because they serve my needs better”.
Also speaking at the forum, Mr. John Eze, another customer commended the bank's services and friendly work force and advised the bank to sustain the current practice of quality service and also open more branches in Lagos as some customers find it difficult to access the bank in their areas.
In his remark, the Executive Director, Lagos Business, Diamond Bank Plc, Mr. Uzoma Dozie assured customers that the bank will continue to provide quality financial services in an efficient, seamless and cost-effective manner that would add value to their undertakings.
Dozie further noted that the increase in the bank's product offerings and its aggressive expansion scheme were practical testimonies of the bank's mission to consistently exceed customers’ expectations by providing value added solutions to their businesses.
He noted that the bank brought all its relevant departments to the forum for the customers to get first-hand information about the activities of the bank and also to share their experiences with them.
The Executive Director added that the objective of the forum was for the customers to see the bank as a partner in progress in an effort to achieving its vision of becoming a leading financial institution with the best people, providing unequalled customer experience and delivering superior shareholders value.
“We still have a long way to go; I don’t believe we are already where we want to be. One of our focuses is to ensure that any service you can get in any bank in the world, you can actually get it in the Diamond Bank.
Our initiative is to help our customers reduce the number of the banks they are maintaining. In future you are going to see more innovations in the bank, I also believe that part of our role is to provide non-financial services to our customers,” he said.
He called on the customers to feel free to point out where the bank is right or wrong in its operations as every feedback either positive or negative would help the bank improve on its services to deliver value and increase return on investments.
Also speaking at the event, the bank’s Ikeja Regional Manager, Mr. Benson Oraelosi said “our job is service. Banking is like the job of an insurance agent. If one is not doing well and fails to listen or take corrections, one has failed in his responsibility. We might be working and think we are doing well and that our customers are happy while that is not the case. We are here today because without our customers we will be nowhere. Some have been with us from the get-go and their businesses have grown and their children are grown also and they are still with us. We are here to ask how we have served you and how we can do better.”
Head, Customer Experience, Diamond Bank Plc, Mrs. Shirley Uyakonwu said: “Alongside hosting fora like this, there are other opportunities that allow for feedback from you. Customers may choose to complain by telephone, in person or in writing. We have the toll-free phones in our banking halls and ATM points where you can call for complaints or enquiries. There are people by the phones waiting for you to call.”

EDUCATION NOW COMPULSORY FOR SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN IN DELTA, SAYS

Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has said the state government has concluded plans
to stop underage children from hawking in the streets and ensure that all children of school age
compulsorily attend school as part of the free education policy of the state government.

The Governor who stated this in Asaba Friday, during the funeral Service for Mama Angelina
Onyebuchi Azinge, mother of Professor Epiphany Azinge, Director-General, Nigerian Institute of Legal Studies.

He said, “Education is important and it is our responsibility to make it possible for our people to attend school especially those who cannot pay for it. It is our responsibility to ensure that our children go to school. That is why we made it free at the basic and secondary levels. Soon we will deal with the case of our children who are hawking rather than being in school. It is our responsibility to ensure that they are in school. We want to ensure that our children and youths get basic
education and skills to survive in life.”

Dr. Uduaghan admonished parents to ensure the good moral and spiritual upbringing of their wards so that they would become useful citizens, saying parents should create enough time for their children’s welfare, moral and spiritual training.

He called on parents to take care of the children’s physical and moral upbringing and mould them into nation builders, explaining that lack of care and discipline has led to a lot of security and criminal challenges among youths.

“It is your responsibility as parents to ensure that your children are brought up physically and morally because lack of care and character has led to a lot of the security challenges we face in our society Take out time to mould your children because if they are not well cared for and brought up, they will grow up to become security problems for the nation rather than nation builders,” he said.

While commending the late Mama Angelina Azinge for her tireless efforts in raising and caring of her children who are now contributing to the development of the nation, he urged parents to emulate her and raise their children in the way of the Lord.

Dr. Uduaghan described the life of Mama Angelina Onyebuchi Azinge as a study in Human Capital
Development explaining that through the trials and challenges she faced, she turned out to be an industrious and virtuous woman.

Describing his administration’s 3 Point Agenda as not misplaced and important to the development of the state, Governor Uduaghan called on Political leaders to play key roles in providing free health care, free education and security to the people explaining that it was their responsibility to meet the needs of the people.

“Leaders are assessed by their developmental achievements but if the people have nothing in their stomachs and their interests are not considered, they will not appreciate whatever efforts you make,” he said, adding, “It is our responsibility to provide the opportunities our people need to get better education, better health care and ensure their safety as well.”

In his sermon, the Bishop of Asaba Diocese, Rt. Rev. Justus Mogekwu called on President Goodluck Jonathan to immediately sign into law the bill prohibiting same-sex marriage which he described as “an evil curse from the pit of hell, which is against the moral> values, norms and traditions of the African Society”. He opined that same sex marriage has nothing to do with human rights or freedom of association.

According to him, “the western world cannot dictate the moral values and norms of our society. I
wish to condemn their stance and pressure on Africans to accept same sex marriage and remind them that same sex marriage is unbiblical and against the ethics of marriage. They can keep their aids and
assistance if acceptance of same sex marriage is a pre-condition.”

Rt. Rev. Mogekwu who commended the National Assembly for taking the initiative in passing the bill against same sex marriage and recognizing that it is evil enjoined the political class and indeed
Nigerians to appeal to the President to immediately assent to the bill and not bow to the pressure and
 blackmail of the Western countries.

The Bishop commended the life of late Mama Angelina Onyebuchi Azinge who he described as a
virtuous and industrious woman who catered for her children and imbibed in them the Christian values which they exhibited today.

He called on the children to maintain the legacies of their mother and continue to serve humanity
in all they do and advised them to put their trust in Christ as their mother did, and seek his face always.

Dignitaries at the funeral service included members of the Delta State Executive Council, National and State Houses of Assembly, Chief Okwesilieze Nwodo, the Archbishop Metropolitan and
Primate of All Nigeria Anglican Church, The Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh, the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Rt. Reverend Emmanuel Chukwumah and an array of other Bishops from all over Nigeria.

How Police Bullets Kill Fidelity Bank Staff.......Plus How Bank's Attempt To Safe His Life Failed

Sad, tragic end of a good man.
....
Douglas Ude had a visitor last Sunday and was driving with his wife to pick the person at Jibowu in Lagos. Along the way, armed robbers accosted them and rather than throw them out of the car, chose to drive with them (Douglas and wife) for an operation that night.
Somewhere during the operation, the robbers encountered the police and a gun fight ensued.

Douglas was felled by police bullets as they were trying to repel the robbers. A surgery in Nigeria could not do it and Fidelity Bank, where he worked as Head of Retail Products hired an air ambulance to fly him abroad for proper treatment.
....
Douglas gave up the ghost as he was being wheeled into the ambulance on the tarmac of the Lagos airport.

Iyanya Keeps Quiet As Actress Yvonne Nelson Exposes Their Secret and Crashed Romance

Following a recent interview she granted to Bella Naija, where she opened up on how her sizzling romance with Nigeria’s music star, Iyanya started and crashed after eight months of dating, the Kukere crooner has replied Sexy Ghanian actress,Yvonne Nelson, declaring, “She can say whatever she wants to say.”
WG caught up with Iyanya during the week, but rather than refuting Yvonne’s claim, Iyanya simply muted, “I don’t want to talk about it please. She can say whatever she wants to say. It’s her business not mine.”

The “Kukere” and “Ur waist” singer once denied neither dating Yvonne Nelson nor any known female celebrity, insisting  “the thing about dating celebs is that it would most likely not last.”
Meanwhile, pouring her mind in the interview, Yvonne  accused Iyanya of laying the bed of their relationship with lies, adding that  while they were dating, he was also  dating several other girls.
According to heart broken Yvonne,  “We dated for  between  seven to eight  months. We had something and I thought it was special, like he was a wonderful guy but it was all lies. He had other girls and other things he was doing. Aside the actress that was in the picture, there were a lot more. That is how bad it is.”
“We were in a relationship and he lied throughout and he was able to do all those things because I wasn’t living in Nigeria. But aside from the distance, I feel if you’re a genuine person and you’re loyal, you would still not do that. I feel it’s disrespectful to start mentioning other people’s names.
I am talking about Iyanya because we had a thing, I don’t want to bring in a third person. There were a lot of names that people know. There was a girl from South Africa, I’m not going to mention names but she was part of Big Brother Africa last year. ”
When asked why she decided to keep the relationship away from public eye until their breakup, she replied,  “I also don’t believe in putting my relationships in the faces of people. We both had our careers and were trying to protect our fan base and that’s cool. But if you go through my Instagram page, you’d see a couple of pictures of us together. I wasn’t shy about anything but he could not say he’s dating Yvonne Nelson because he had different people he was seeing so it was very hard for him to bring it out. ”

Opeyemi Bamidele Dares Tinubu....Set To Contest Against Fayemi In Ekiti

The Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Budget and Research, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele, has said the endorsement of Governor Kayode Fayemi by the national leaders of the Action Congress of Nigeria can not stop him from pursuing his ambition in 2014.
Bamidele, who represents Ekiti Federal Constituency I at the lower legislative chamber, spoke through his media aide, Mr. Ahmed Salami, in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Ado Ekiti on Thursday.
There has been a cold war between Fayemi and Bamidele over the lawmaker’s rumoured ambition. Although Bamidele has yet to declare his ambition publicly, his utterances suggest that he wants to contest against Fayemi in 2014 governorship poll.
National Leader of ACN, Asiwaju had on Wednesday at a meeting in Ado Ekiti endorsed Fayemi’s term bid and asked the lawmaker to drop his governorship ambition for now.
Those who attended the meeting apart from Tinubu were ACN National Chairman, Chief Bisi  Akande; former governors Bamidele Olumilua and Niyi Adebayo, among others.
But his media aide said Bamidele was not invited to the meeting which he said was supposed to be a reconciliatory meeting.
He said, “ There is no going back for Opeyemi Bamidele movement. He has made known his decision before now. The meeting was called to reconcile all the warring factions within the party but MOB (Bamidele) was not invited.”
He added that Bamidele would have been attacked by hoodlums if he had even attended the meeting, which was held at the Government House.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party has said Bola Tinubu did not have the power to stop Bamidele from contesting the 2014 Ekiti governorship election.
Fayemi has declared his ambition to contest for a second term.
But the PDP said in a statement by its Acting National Publicity Secretary,  Mr. Tony Okeke, in Abuja on Thursday, that by seeking to bar persons from contesting the Ekiti state governorship election, Tinubu was being despotic.

Man Beheads Friend For Money Ritual

A 25-year old commercial motorcycle rider identified as Wasiu, is currently cooling his heels at the Ondo State Crime Investigation Bureau, SCIB, for allegedly beheading his friend, Joshua Fadeyi, 22, for money making ritual.

The incident, P.M.NEWS reliably gathered, happened recently.
Wasiu was arrested and taken to Oke-Igbo Police Station, and later transferred to SCIB, Akure for proper investigation.
He allegedly confessed at the SCIB that a herbalist asked him to bring a human head for money making ritual.
Speaking on how it happened, Joshua’s uncle, Mr. Ademola Fadeyi, said they both came to his house on that fateful morning, ate and left at about 10am to drink palm wine at Oloruntade.
He said after the palm wine drink, they went to the home of Samuel, one of their friends, at about 6pm, where Wasiu perpetrated the evil act.
He said Samuel returned home after Wasiu had killed Joshua and was cutting off his head with cutlass.
He told P.M.NEWS further that a struggle ensued between Samuel and Wasiu and Wasiu tore Samuel’s clothes and escaped to a neighbouring village to evade arrest.
He was later arrested a few days later at Epe village in Ondo by commercial motorcycle riders who were on his trail after the incident happened as he was about to buy cigarette.
The late Joshua’s uncle accused the SCIB of trying to cover up the matter, adding that what the family want is justice.
He pleaded with the police to release his corpse which is currently at the General Hospital, Ondo Town, to the family for burial.
When a call was put through to the DPO of Oke-Igbo Police Station, Akure, to seek clarification on the issue, he said: “when the guy was apprehended, the mob wanted to kill him. But when I intervened, they descended on my car and demaged it.
“Well, the matter is no more at my police station. We did not take any statement from him when he was here. He has been transferred to SCIB. You can get all the information you need from the Ondo State PPRO,” he said.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS on phone on the matter, an inspector at the SCIB, identified as Abayomi, said:”you as a journalist, can you believe that case that is already before the court of law can be covered up?
“Well, you can’t get my own side of the story except you get across to the Ondo State PPRO. Thank you.”

Seven under aged boys were also among those arrested. They were taken to the Boys Remand Home, Oregun for correction and rehabilitation.

Two of those arrested are twins from the same parents sleeping under the bridge,” he explained.

Sex Scandal In The House Of God....."TOPE ALABI WANTED SEX WITH ME"- PASTOR AJANAKU

Love him or loathe him, Pastor Iretiola Ajanaku has a cult following among his congregation. On a daily basis, his Ipaja, Lagos church receives hundreds of new converts from far and near seeking healing and spiritual deliverance. The growing list of his patrons and devotees is not only intimidating but intriguing; these personalities seek spiritual deliverance in the church tucked in far flung Ipaja.
Following E24-7Magazine's exclusive interview with the cleric after  the departure of top Gospel singer, Tope Alabi, believed to be her 'daughter' from the church, readers inundated our office with questions that bothered on the life, look and perceived mysteries surrounding the pastor.   In response to their demands, BIODUN KUPOLUYI returned to the vineyard of the prophet and probed him on many issues bogging down the minds of millions of people. Definitely, not one to be caught unawares, Ajanaku responded and revealed more and more.

Your fair complexion look has caused many people to think you are applying a bleaching cream to look like this, could that be true?
If you know me two, three or four years ago you will see that I'm fair in complexion and I have so many hair that covers my face and every time I tried to remove it, it grows back. If I removed it today, it will grow tomorrow or next tomorrow but you know there are certain things that can't be easy for human beings to understand.  God is greater than  any story that is why we call him mystery that is why there is no story that is greater than God  and that is why academically, we call men handsome  but because  God is very great,  we now call him Awesome, that is,  beyond human understanding,. The whole church knows and they normally buy soaps for me, it is the church that buys the soap, the soap is Rhome and it is atoilet soap.  If anybody really wants to understand Pastor Ajanaku let them come closer to me. I have never by any reason eaten  in anybody's  presence  in my life and  when I'm  eating  only my wife and my children can  see me.  Nobody has ever seen me open my mouth to eat in the public.  Even before my marriage nobody has ever seen me put food into my mouth, so what will people say about that?
Can you clear the air on the claim by Tope Alabi that she actually met you six years ago?
Go through that picture that was 11 years ago that she came to the church crying that since she married she had no child. I told her that by the grace of God when we shall be holding another anniversary she will come and dedicate her child before God. That's the picture, and others when they brought the baby, christened Deborah for dedication. There are many things concerning her and the husband that I will not tell anyone, never, never. If she had not said that she met me only six years ago,   I would not have called you to show you all these pictures. And if I say what God has used me to do in their lives, with proofs and medical tests records in their hands, they will be ashamed of themselves.

But I will like you to share it with us to put the records straight?
I'm wondering if she's being foolish or just stupid. I remember when she was putting pressure on me to have sex with her. She did not hide her urge to have sexual relationship with me. At a point she could not control her urge to do that but I declined, I said never, not me. Ask these people here.  (In chorus, the members seated confirmed his claim).
But there were insinuations that you fathered the same child, could it be true?
I can never be involved in such a dirty act. Hen, what do we call that? Where is that written in the Bible? Is it in Habbakuk or where in the Bible is that written? Where do we start the foreplay? I have survived many beautiful women here in this house and I have never had anything sexual with them but attended to their needs. Besides there are young girls around if one actually wanted to have such a relationship that is for those who wanted to do that.  Why go to a grandma? She went as far as begging people to convince me to have sex with her but not me in the name of Jesus.
Can you recall the event that led to the anointing of another gospel star, Ifemide, in the church?
“It was during the December 31, 2012 service and I asked all the artistes in the church to come out, everyone who identified himself or herself as an artiste came out but Tope did not, she stayed back and I went into prayers and  I pronounced that 'Today somebody will sit down, somebody will stand up.” I have never met the young girl before.
IT’S A LIE! NOBODY CAN BREAK OUR MARRIAGE - TOPE ALABI’S HUBBY
As the controversy rages, more startling revelation come to fore. Soji Alabi, husband of star gospel singer and her producer dismissed all the claims by Pastor Iretiola Ajanaku saying he trusts his wife and his love for her and their marriage cannot be broken
The revelation that your wife wanted sex with Pastor Ajanaku is weighty and don't you think it can affect your marriage?
There is nothing that the man can do to destroy my marriage, all what he is saying are lies.
You seem to have that confidence in your wife that she could not do such?
I know my wife, I know now the kind of person she is. I have known her for about 15 years now even before we eventually got married. We knew each other since 1995 and got married in 2000. I know her very well.
But what do you think could have made Pastor Ajanaku to reveal all these if they were not true?  What does he  want to achieve?
You see I don't want to answer him again because you can't just be contending with such a person, a person that believes that because you are famous he has to destroy your ministry, if he is the person that have power and gave you the anointing and he wants to collect, he should collect it from the person and now that he does not have the power to collect that means that what the person possesses is God's gift.  He thinks that if he goes to the media he can destroy the person. Let him do whatever he wants to do
Have you ever suspected any amorous relationship between him and your wife?
There is nothing between them; you see my wife is somebody that fears God, you know her that she might be playful if she sees you now, she might play with you, laugh with you but she is a person that fears God very well, she is somebody I respect so much, even as her husband, I respect her for those values so much. Even the children know she is a God-fearing woman.  There is nobody that can say any negative thing that will make me change my mind against her because I know the person I got married to.
You mean the claim by Pastor Ajanaku and some members of the church that she said even if she gets to heaven she will plead with God to have sex with him before judgment is false?
All what they are saying is from the pit of hell. If someone possesses the spirit of God will he be talking like that?
But have you ever had any reason to doubt the paternity of any of the children in your home?
There is nothing they can say that I can reply them again, all what they are saying is from the pit of hell.
