Riot breaks out in Kano as mosque bomb blast casualty hits 100
Well over 100 people were believed to have been killed and hundreds more injured in multiple bomb attacks at the Central Mosque in Kano on Friday.
The exact number of deaths are still unclear as police have not issued a figure yet, as spokesperson of Kano Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Mustapha Abubakar, said police were “still taking stock of the actual persons that have died” and could not give clear figures as of yet.

PDP thugs' attack on Gov. Ahmed's convoy: Kwara APC calls for investigation

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Kwara State chapter has alleged that armed thugs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ambushed and attacked Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed's convoy in Kaiama, Headquarters of Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State on Tuesday. 

In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, the APC described the attack on Governor's Abdulfatah Ahmed's convoy as the height of political provocation.
