63 year old Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole has stated the reasons why he married his Ethopian wife Lara Forte. In his words....
"She is very humble, she appreciates the nature of my job and life that it is one that one comes back home late. Sometimes 3: 00 a.m., she understands my weaknesses, she is more or less the mother of the house, the one that has accepted to be the mother of my children. I am happy that all my children are at home with her and accept her as their mother even though she is not old enough to be their mother. She has accepted to fill that gap,” he told PM news

A Jordanian woman has claimed that a doctor left his mobile phone in her abdomen after she underwent a Caesarean section.
Hanan Mahmoud Abdul Karim, 36, was admitted to a private hospital in Amman, Jordan, for the delivery of her baby son on April 24, 2015.

A 35-year old gospel preacher, Lucky David, ran out of luck when he was arrested and charged before Ejigbo Magistrate’s court for allegedly stealing a Lexus SUV while he was preaching about repentance to the residents of Idimu in the morning in Lagos State, western Nigeria.
The preacher reportedly carried a Bible and bell while preaching to the residents of Idimu-Ejigbo road in Idimu and asking them to repent of their bad ways.
The Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation has asked a Federal High Court in Lagos to place on the “undefended list” a suit it filed to recover an alleged debt of N34m from the Senior Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Doyin Okupe, and two others.
A plaintiff usually applies to put a matter on undefended list when he believes the respondents have no valid defence.

This is the horrific moment a tiny newborn baby was battered and bitten by a nurse who was supposed to be caring for her. Chilling CCTV footage captures the moment savage Emiliya Kovacheva repeatedly beat and then bit the four-day-old tot. The baby girl, called Nicole, was being kept under observation at the Sofiamed hospital in Bulgaria after having been born a few days earlier. The shocking attack was initially feared to be so brutal that the baby would either not survive or be brain damaged. Medics worked around the clock to treat little Nicole and it is thought that she will now fully recover from the ordeal. The nurse was arrested after the CCTV images revealed the reason why the child had suddenly ended up with the injuries including bite marks.
Reports by Channels TV alleged that some PDP governors, particularly those who formed what was referred to as the new PDP in December 2013, are planning to form a new party following the crisis that is currently rocking the PDP after its loss at the presidential elections.

Weeks after a devastating quake killed more than 8,000 people and destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes,another strong earthquake shook Nepal on Tuesday, sending people in the capital Kathmandu rushing out on to the streets , eyewitnesses said.

The police in Lagos State, western Nigeria, have arrested a 52-year old woman identified as Mrs. Olamide Bello for allegedly buying twin babies for N1.9 million.
According to, the suspect who resides at Adeniji Street, Meiran, a suburb of Lagos State, with her husband and step-children, told her husband, Mr. Wasiu Bello, that she was pregnant and that she has been instructed to go and deliver of the baby in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital in southern Nigeria.
