The Eye Foundation group has recently partnered with AbikeDabiri-Erewa to provide free eye screening to as many who are interested and free eye surgery for up to 1,000 people within the Ikorodu axis and its environs. The program which kicked off on the 30th of May would run for one month. The first day had over 230 people from different Local Governments Areas within Lagos state screened while 20 have been scheduled for eye surgery. Special thanks must be given to HRM Anyangburen of Ikorodu Oba Kabiru Shotunbi who has been tremendously supportive of the program and was indeed present for his eye screening to kick off the initiative yesterday.
