The much publicized Africa Fashion Show, Geneva AFSG organized by
Temitayo Ayinla-Omotola’s Crucible Event
& Planners (CEP) is set to
take centre stage come 30th and 31st May 2014 at one of Geneva’s Prestigious
and elegant out-fit, Chateau des Penthes.
The show which promise to be
glamorous will be attracting participant
across Africa just as it was in previous edition. Poised for another success
story, the show will be utilizing Africa’s diverse cultural heritage, it will
reflect the vitality of the creative human spirit and will showcase the diverse
talents of African fashion designers and models according to the organizer.
Promised to showcase some of the best
Africa Fashion designers and Models, the Africa Fashion Show taking
place in Geneva, Switzerland will witness the best of Cy’MUN (Cynthia Mnwangari, Burundi), Manye
Styles (Gifty Kpentey, Ghana), EmmaFor (Republic of Guinea), A la Pointe du
Caftan (Samira el Mouhssine et Said Mahmoudi, Morocco), Ahdookeh (Morenikeji
Fatai Agoro, Nigeria), Baldon Clothiers (Adedoyin Balogun, Nigeria) and Malleni
Designs (Peace Malleni, Uganda), showing their stuffs. On the 31st of May, the
event will be rounded off with a memorable Gala nite that will also feature
Africa Fashion icons and top Models on
Runway Show on a night of live performances by Nigerian rap and hip-hop artist
Babatunde and UK-based Grammy award winner and former Rose Royce lead singer,
Gwen Dickey (aka Rose Norwalt).
On display will be Africa art, fashion ,
cuisine and dance at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Geneva
