HON. MOJISOLA LAWAL PROFFERS SOLUTIONS TO TRAFFIC CONGESTION IN APAPA

The lawmaker-elect who will be representing Apapa Constituency I in the 8th Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mojisola Lawal , has proffered solutions to the frequent traffic congestion experienced daily on Apapa Oshodi Express way.

In a press released signed by Hon. Mojisola, she stressed that the extent of the traffic jam in Apapa is becoming so alarming and worrisome, noting that the incoming Federal government of Nigeria has to give this an urgent and prompt treatment it deserves.
The statement reads

“The frequent traffic congestion witnessed on a daily basis by the residents and people of Apapa area of Lagos State is becoming so alarming. As an incoming representative of Apapa Constituency 1 in Lagos State House of Assembly, I feel the pain of my people in respect to this unwarranted congestion, which has continued to affect their businesses negatively in one way or another.

“I am using this platform to appeal to the incoming Federal Government of Nigeria to respond promptly to the yelling of our people in bringing an end to this traffic congestion caused by the petroleum tanker drivers by coming up with a proper structure that will guide the operational activities of the tanker drivers.

“Similarly, the government should ensure that the tanker drivers comply strictly with the traffic rules and regulations by making sure that defaulters face the wrath of the law. This will serve as deterrent to others.
“To my people, the residents of Apapa area of Lagos State, as your representative, who has been given the mandate to defend your rights and alleviate your troubles, I shall be the first to tender your plight, regarding this ugly incidence that you experience daily on Apapa road, to the 8th Lagos State House of Assembly as soon as the House convenes. Before then, I urge you all to remain calm as you go about your daily activities. I assure you that the issue of the traffic congestion will become a thing of the past soon,” she concluded.
