AKURE STATE HIGH COURT OKAYS SELECTION OF ZAKI OF ARIGIDI.

The State high court in Akure uphold the selection of the Zaki of Arigidi Oba Yisa Olanipekun, The ruling was given by Justice B. Akindeinde in court 7, in Akure on friday. 

In his ruling the judge argue that he did not have juridiction on the earlier judgement given by the appellate court which is the court of Appeal in Akure and the judge struck out all the motion file by Prince Tunde Olanipekun Counsel Barrister Wole Omotosho against the selection of Oba Yisa Olanipekun, and agree with the argument of Oba Yisa Olanipekun Counsel Barrister Fashaki that he did not have the legal right to tamper with the decision of the court of appeal last year june that Oba yisa Olanipekun selection was done base on due process.
The judge in is ruling agree that he did not have jurisdiction on decision of the appellant court which is the decision of the court of appeal in june 2013 that the selection of Oba Yisa Olanipekun was done in due process without any error.
With this ruling Oba Yisa Olanipekun is now the Zaki of Arigidi Land.
