The former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, on Tuesday warned the electorate in the state to be cautious in their choice of representatives at the different levels of governance.
Daniel in his New Year message to the people of the state,
stressed that the electorate in the state should ensure that they used their votes wisely in the forthcoming elections in order not to put misfits in the various political offices.
The former governor, who is also identified as the leader of the Labour Party in the state, in a statement by his Media Assistant, Mr. Ayo Giwa, argued that the state had become too advanced to be governed by ill-prepared political office holders, who would only resort to telling lies to the people rather than taking them on the path to progress.
