Ooni will make impact beyond Nigeria -Fayose
Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose has said the Ooni of Ife, HRM Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi will make developmental impacts that will transcend the Nigerian borders in his reign on the throne.
Governor Fayose who made the assertion on Sunday while reacting to questions from newsmen at Ooni of Ife palace premises, venue of thanksgiving and wedding reception of the newly wedded monarch added that the kabiyesi symbolizes the unity of yoruba land.
"By the office of the Ooni of Ife, he needs no message, knowing him as the direct son of Oduduwa, he has a direct communication with God, there is no doubt this Ooni will make impact beyond Yoruba land, beyond Nigeria, and he's a blessing to us, we congratulate him.
"Ooni simply symbolizes the unity of Yoruba land and with the initiative of this Ooni, it is clear that he is God sent", Fayose said.
Oba Ogunwusi earlier in his welcome address thanked God for making the day a reality, he appreciated all guests present for keeping a date. Kabiyesi who concluded his speech with a song of praise in appreciation of God's favour got married to former Miss Wuraola Obanor yesterday.
