How would you rate yourself?
You can’t really isolate the last eight years from the ones before; there’s a momentum and team efforts here and this is why the next elections are important as far as experience is concerned. I was in the first team and it was easier for me to get going and give things my own view, but as I say to people, this is all about human life; being governor is about being responsible for human beings and so the problems won’t go away, they would never end. As you solve one, another one appears. And, indeed, the more problems you solve the more challenges you create for yourself. In terms of rating, I honestly can’t rate myself because I don’t have time to look back. I still focus on the next one hundred and something days; my job ends on May 29.

MILITARY PROTESTS AGAINST APC ADVERT

THAT POLITICAL CAMPAIGN ADVERT ON THE CDS IS UNFAIR TO THE MILITARY

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) views with strong exception the political campaign advert by a political party which is currently airing on several television channels targeting the person and office of Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh for denigration. In the said advert, vile references were made about the Chief’s leadership of the ongoing counter terrorism operation in some parts of the country. The advert is simply typical of the now very common use of the print, electronic and social media to propagate the campaign of attacking or ridiculing the Nigerian Armed Forces all with the intention of scoring political points.
