President Buhari Suspends Immigration Boss Over Visa Issued To ISIS terrorist










The Comptroller-General of Nigeria’s immigration service, Mr. David Parradang, has been suspended by president Buhari and many believe it's because of the controversy surrounding how wanted Lebanese terrorist and radical cleric, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Assir got a Nigerian visa even with a fake Palestinian passport. He was arrested at an airport in Beirut on Sunday Aug 15 on his way to Nigeria.

Five Star Music act, Skiibii has spoken for the first time since the death stunt that has become one of the most-talked about incidents in Nigeria in the last one week.

Lagos has been ranked the 4th worst city to live globally following the ‘Global Liveability Ranking’, by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) for 2015.

The centre of excellence, Lagos was considered the fourth least (137) liveable city in the world on the list of 140. The survey took account of cities’ healthcare, education, safety, culture, environment and infrastructure.

President Buhari has ordered a full investigation into how a wanted terrorist was granted Nigerian Visa in Lebanon to visit the country.
An official of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign affairs said in Abuja on Tuesday evening, that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to investigate the circumstances surrounding the issuance of Visa to the wanted terrorist‎ into Nigeria.

Governor Wike Promises To Complete Amaechi's Unfinished project

Missing Indonesian Flight Found With No Survivors



Earlier this morning Indonesian rescue teams at a densely forested area in the eastern Indonesian province of Papua where the missing Indonesian aircraft carrying 54 people crashed on Sunday found only 38 bodies and believed some might have survived? 

It turns out that none survived including the children and infants on board. All 44 passengers, 5 crew members and five children and infants were all found dead after rescue workers searched for more bodies. 54 bodies have been counted which confirms all died.

AMBODE PLEGDES TO EMBARK ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT REFORMS


Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday pledged to embark on local government reforms with the aim of making the 57 local governments and local council development areas more responsive to the needs of the people.

The Governor who made this known during a parley with members of the various Community Development Associations (CDAs), Community Development Councils (CDC) and other stakeholders, said the intention of his administration was to give governance back to the people in line with his objective to run an all inclusive government.

Catholic Priest Gruesomely Murdered In Imo State


Rampaging hoodlums in Imo State, weekend, murdered a Claretian priest of the Catholic Church in Owerri.
The priest, whose full identity could not be ascertained at press time, was an academic staff of Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo, in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of the state.Confirming the incident yesterday in a telephone interview, Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Andrew Enwerem, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the priest was murdered by assassins on a bush path.

President Buhari To Recover Government Properties From GEJ's Aides


President Buhari has set up a committee whose sole responsibility will be to recover all government properties like cars, houses, generators and others that are still in the possession of aides of former president Jonathan even after they have left office.

Lagos Government Approves 112 Emergency Lines To Report Rape & Domestic Violence Cases In Lagos


Lagos State government has approved the use of 112 toll free emergency line to report cases of rape, domestic violence, defilement, child abuse, neglect and other sexual assaults perpetrated in the state.

The state government in a circular sent out by the State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) said they decided to provide the toll free line so that victims of Sexual and Gender Based Violence can have easy access to people who will help them and also for members of the public who wish to report any case of rape or domestic violence in the state. The state government says any case reported on the toll line will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

Missing Indonesian Airplane Found in Oktabe district of Papua region


The Indonesian domestic flight carrying 54 passengers and crew that went missing this afternoon has been found crashed in a mountain in Oktabe district in Papua region in Eastern Indonesia.

According to Indonesia's transport ministry's director-general of air transportation, Suprasetyo, some villagers in the region found the crashed plane and alerted rescue officials.
"The plane has been found by villagers. According to residents, the flight had crashed into a mountain. Verification is still in process," an official said

Indonesian Plane With 54 Passengers Goes Missing

Indonesian search and rescue agencies are hunting for a passenger plane that went missing in bad weather over the remote eastern region of Papua, with 54 people on board. The plane, flight number TGN267, failed to arrive at its destination of Oksibil after contact was lost with the plane, according to the National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS).
