Popular movie producer,Elizabeth Talabi better known as Eniola Tokunbo is presently on the run over her latest movie "Oun Okan Mi" (My Choice) which seems to portray gay relationships in positive light.
Insiders told metronews that since the release of the movie trailer, opinions were divided over the choice of Eniola to produce such controversial movie considering the fact that she has in the past been romantically linked with same sex actors.
The body which regulates movies and production quality is said to be under serious pressure to stop the release of the movie. According to a member of the committee who does not want to be mentioned, several meetings held by the committee did not end well because members are divided with majority against the release of the movie. He further revealed that the Nollywood ad-hoc committee is seriously considering sanctions against Eniola to further ensure that she does not produce or lure other producers into such ventures in future.
Meanwhile efforts to get Eniola to come and defend the allegations and clear the air if she really support same sex marriage and relationship proved abortive as she remain elusive and her mobile phones switched off.Her co-lead actress in the controversy is also said to have disappeared with no traces of her whereabout.
Insiders told Metronews that Eniola's Lagos home was raided by security agents with fear that the rushes and final
production materials of the movie have been carted away, the office of the marketer was also served same treatment with copies of the movies taken away.
