Renowned broadcaster, Femi Sowoolu, is set to redefine the ‘radio business’ in the city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. As well as its environs.
YES INTERNATIONAL! Magazine exclusively gathered that any moment from now, the bearded gentleman who is endowed with a voice that is so unique and distinct will be debuting with his radio station, Jamz 100.1 FM.
Almost done with crossing all the T’s and dotting all the I’s, the new radio station will operate from Jamz 100.1FM House, on Plot 2, Deacon Olufemi Quadri Street, Felele Layout, off Ibadan-Iwo Expressway, Ibadan.
And with Mr. Sowoolu in charge, many are already salivating and eagerly awaiting their take off. In fact, like one Ibadan resident who is already aware of their coming told us: ‘Professionalism will take up abode there with FS as the MD/CEO – and that is why we can’t wait for them to hit us with correct ‘Jamz’ like their name rightly suggests’.
A broadcaster par excellence, Sowoolu has been around for decades, leaving quality imprints at all the broadcasting stations he’s passed through. In the area of training, for both upcoming and established broadcasters, he’s also well respected and regularly sought-after.
