That Governor Ayodele Fayose loves controversy is not in doubt,since the return of Fayose to the office of Ekiti State House,it has been one battle to the other.
According to a statement made by a top elder statesman who is sad about the happenings in Ekiti “Fayose is the tragedy that happens when Ekiti people chose ‘rice’ and ‘a bastard’ over an educational colossus like fayemi. What a disaster" “I heartily sympathize with the people of Ekiti for having a miscreant like Fayose governing the state of many intellects. It is really sad.
“When I stumbled on Fayose’s newspaper advert about Buhari, I couldn’t help but cry for the people of Ekiti for having him as their leader.”
It is obvious that Fayose's desire to be the arrow head of opposition did not go well with Presidency,and his targeting the President and his wife is his greatest undoing as it is expected,to come with its repercussion,the decision to probe the movement of $2.1Billion NSA scam with EFCC investigating which led to the revelation that Fayose got N1.2B from the fund via the then Minister of State for Defence.
This was when the Governor decided to play dirty, the company /names mentioned are business owners who have worked tirelessly to build a brand for themselves which should not be tarnished with overnight by a failing /failed institution/entity.
When EFCC discovered strange payments to Signachorr and Stillearth Ltd from Abbeys account in scrutinizing Stillearth and Signachorr bank accounts, EFCC discovered payment by Samchase Ltd, a contractor to Ekiti State government. Other three companies are also listed as paying for properties for Fayose.
Stiillearth and Signochorr claim payments by Privateer Ltd of Abbey Agbele and Simcheese are payments for property sold to Fayose by Stillearth. Now Fayose fighting Stiilearth and Signachorr accusing its owner of colluding with EFCC to make a case against him.
The same way he is fighting dirty with Zenith Bank whom he wages war against as funding his campaign, Stillearth and Signachorr argues that it is a reputable company and is willing to copperate with law enforcement agencies since they have done nothing wrong.
From this story, it is obvious that the governor is trying to bring down people because he knows he is falling and has a failing government.His ally Abbey, has told it all in his statements to EFCC that contractors are being coerced to fabricate lies for Fayose.
If truly Fayose is a cat with 9 lives,let us see if he has any lifeline left.
