Ekiti Central citizens in Ekiti State woke up this morning
to another attempt by the outgoing APC government to malign the character of
the Labour Party (LP) governorship aspirant, Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele
(MOB) and set confusion among LP teaming supporters by littering the streets
with SDP posters bearing MOB’s Pictures. This again underscores our suspicions
that the JKF administration is jittery and will do anything to remain in office
especially now that the people’s resolve to end the APC government of deceits in
Ekiti is almost tangible.
We have it on good authority that the SDP posters on the
streets were produced and pasted by agents of the outgoing APC government in
Ekiti State. For the avoidance of any
doubt, and on the authority of the man in the eye of the storm, I wish to state
clearly that Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele remain a member of the Labour party
and will be contesting the Governorship of Ekiti State under the umbrella of
the Labout party.
Ekitis should regard the SDP posters as another wasteful
venture being embarked upon by the Dr. Kayode Fayemi’s administration. Come October
2014, those wasting our commonwealth with impunity will have the people to
answer to.
