> The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has advised all contestants of today local government election in the state to practice politics of inclusion if victoriously emerged in their respective council areas.

> Governor Ahmed gave the advice at his home town, Share, the headquarters of Ifelodun local government area of the state shortly after he casted his vote at Share Ward 1 polling boot, Alebiopan compound, Share.

> Governor Ahmed urged whoever emerges in the election to see it in a state of sportsmanship and carry whoever requires to be carried along accordingly so as to collectively move the state to the next level.
>
> The Share born number one citizen of the state who casted his vote at about 10:50am however thanked God for the peaceful way and manner under which the election was conducted across the state.
>
> "From what I have seen, I want to thank God for today because we have witnessed every process of the election going on accordingly and timely and most importantly peacefully"

> Governor Ahmed attributed the absence of the strong opposition in the election to people's believe in the present administration in the state.

> "We are running a true democracy in the state and in an ideal democratic setting people are free to do things the way they want it, the lack of opposition here in kwara is a reflection that people here believe in this government" governor said.

> He therefore urged those that would emerge as the winners in the election to add value to local government administration through their wealth of experience and ensure that people at grass root level feel the dividends of democracy in order to justify the confidence their people repose on them.

> Also speaking with the news men at Share about the situation report, the state Commissioner of Police, Agboola Oshodi Glover said there was no problem in all places ha had been to added that the election was free, fair and credible
