Hon Ogunsakin observed this development while monitoring this month Environmental exercise in Ado Ekiti.
According to him, health is wealth and that Health of a man is an health of all. Therefore, Ado and its environs must be clean and hygienic always so that the city can become a cynosure of all eyes.

Following the unfortunate boat incident that occurred on Saturday, the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) has summoned an emergency meeting with all commercial boat operators in the state on Tuesday, February 2, just as it vowed to clamp down on boat operators who continue to contravene the rules and regulations guiding their operations.

LAGOSIANS HAIL AMBODE AS HE LIGHTS UP THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE




In line with the ongoing statewide “Operation Light up Lagos” project, the Lagos State Government has completed the illumination of the Third Mainland Bridge.
This Lagos initiative begins from the Ojodu Berger section of the bridge and covers the entire sections of the bridge.
According to a statement signed by Steve Ayorinde, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, the Third Mainland Bridge constitutes an important segment of the road network in the state, as such, the state Government cannot overlook its importance as it also serves as a connecting point to the high brow economic pot of the state.

TAX AGENCY DIRECTOR ARRESTED FOR BRIBERY AND TAX FRAUD



The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested Abumere Joseph Osagie,  deputy director, regional tax office, Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, in a case of abuse of office and bribery.

The suspect was picked following a complaint about his attempt to extort a University proprietor N5million.

An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrahman Mohammed Biu, deputy detective superintendent, DDS, has been arrested for offences bordering on extortion, influence peddling and personation.

Sen. Dino Melaye says he respects former President Olusegun Obasanjo but called him out for allegedly introducing bribery to the National Assembly. According to a report by TheCable, Dino said this while reacting to the letter Obasanjo sent to members of the Senate on January 13th where he berated them over their plans to buy more cars.
