BOMB EXPLODES IN APC SECRETARIAT IN RIVERS STATE

APC secretariat in Abam Ama in Okrika Local government area in Rivers state was bombed yesterday leaving three party members seriously injured. 

 The local government party chairman, Christian Asifamaka said the attack on the three storey building was carried out by the opposition party. Below are his words;

BUHARI CONDEMNS BURNING OF PDP'S CAMPAIGN BUS

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, has condemned the burning and destruction of the campaign buses of President Goodluck Jonathan, in Jos, Plateau.
Earlier today, violence erupted in Jos, as some youths burned vehicles belonging to the president’s campaign.
Buhari, who is in Anambra on his campaign tour, took to Twitter to denounce the violence, while also telling his supporters that “elections are not war”.
He tweeted:-

The white wedding of President Jonathan's foster daughter, Inebharapu held yesterday at the Central Business District of the Federal Capital Territory. The occasion had a turnout of high profile guests as the high and mighty in Nigeria graced it with their presence.

The couple was joined in holy matrimony at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, after which an elaborate wedding reception followed at the International Conference Centre.

In attendance were Olusegun Obasanjo, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Rotimi Amaechi and other important personnel.

CARDINAL OKOGIE CONDEMS REV FR MBAKA'S COMMENTS ABOUT GEJ

Retired Archbishop of Lagos state Cardinal Anthony Olubunmi Okogie has reacted to the recent statements made by Fr. Ejike Mbaka on President Jonathan's led administration. In an interview with Vanguard, Cardinal Okogie said;

How do you see the statement credited to Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka?
Any serious priest will not speak the way he spoke. I am not saying that he is not serious. I will not agree with the things he said. According to what I read in the newspapers, a few weeks earlier, the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, visited his Adoration Ground in Enugu and he prayed for her. At that occasion, he was said to have lambasted the opposition party, APC, and now to turn around overnight and start lambasting President Goodluck Jonathan shows that there is something wrong somewhere.

Personally, I felt bad because it is not the place of a priest to go to that extent. He can have his personal opinion, but to go to the extent that he went is abnormal. I want you to know that he wasn’t speaking for the church. He said he was moved by the spirit, and I wonder what kind of spirit was that.
