OPINION: Let's Celebrate Each Time A Girl IS Returned

I have met two people. David and the other,a lady. They are both from Chibok. They are both lawyers too. David was the first to give me a spirit killing pictures, videos and stories of the menace of BH. He had to bring his laptop to my office. David's friend ,Nonso, is from Anambra state but studied at the university of Maiduguri. He told me a lot too.

The lady is a Christian too like David. They are both of the middle class. David's family are of the PDP. Maybe a little above, the middle class, I'd guess.

The lady's cousin was a victim of the Chibok alienation. Her cousin was amongst the girls abducted by BH from the Chibok secondary school. She nurses the memories of a family torn apart. A community and people that was traded for reasons unknown. They are still praying.

There is an agreement. David and the lady believes there was a conspiracy, politics gone bad, that ended in a tragedy of unimaginable proportion. In all, they have accepted that what mattered is for their girls to come back. Needless pointing accusing fingers.

Chibok tragedy is real. The same way Agatu and Uzo Uwani tragedies are real. That politics was and is involved is real too.

There is pain in every heart in chibok. The pain of knowing a daughter is living in an inhuman condition, being raped, taunted with and living guns everyday and the actors not doing enough to make a family be the same again,is enough to break the iron and diamond hearted.

Let us celebrate, if not,for the sake of that woman that birthed a daughter that is back to her again. We will sort it out with the state actors. There is no price too much to pay.

I celebrate with the Chibok families. I am happy. The government can meet and celebrate with the Oba at the lagoon.
