' Baba Olanihun is a prodigy of immeasurable value both to the Yoruba race and the stability of Nigeria as a nation .

He was a man who has a cosmopolitan outlook of Nigeria politics in relation to the unity of the Yoruba within a true federalist status'

He pointed out that ' His death is not only an irreplaceable calamity to the nation and particularly the Yoruba race but a deficit in generational connection and past historical heritage   .'
He said that ' Baba was a paragon of Yoruba unity , Yoruba Harmony ,Yoruba growth. He usually  tell us the immeasurable efforts and commitment of the Late Obafemi Awolowo to the unity and growth of Yoruba race . He was passionate and wholeheartedly committed to the  unity and growth of Yoruba race . An unrepentant advocate of true federalism . '
