OFF Appoints Shybell Media Boss As Director of Graphics.... Olokun Festival Holds October 20

Olokun Festival Foundation appoints new director of graphics publicity, fixed Oct. 20th for the Grand finale of 2016 edition Olokun festival.

 Foundation has appointed Mr. Idris Bello as its Director of Graphics and Publicity.

Olokun Festival is a front line cultural promotions organisation in Nigeria with over twenty three cultural festivals on its stable annually. 

In a press statement signed by the Personal Assistant to Otunba Gani Adams, the Chief Promoter of the foundation, he said Otunba Adams has deemed it fit to appoint Mr. Bello as the Director of Graphics and Publicity based on his experience in journalism and graphics designing, as well as his contributions to the programmes of the organisation. 

Bello started his  journalism career in 1996 as creative head and a freelance reporter at Soul Publication, publisher of Hearts Magazine.

He also worked as a Production Manager at the defunct Ace Magazine and rose to become the Head of Production.

Bello is the CEO of Shybell Media (an on-line publication, graphic power house and an entertainment outfit), the media platform he started in 2013. 

In a related development, the planning committee of the Olokun Festival Foundation has released the list of the activities to herald the 2016 edition of annual Olokun Festival.

Rising from its meeting, which held at the corporate office of the Foundation in Lagos, the Grand finale of the annual festival was fixed for October 20th at the Suntan Beach in Badagry.  The festival is in collaboration with the  Aholu Menu Thoi, The Ankra of Badagry.

The lineup of activities include the  Prayer to Almighty God on Saturday Oct. 1st; Press Conference coming up Oct. 2nd; Art Exhibition on Oct. 7th; Yoruba Quiz competition on Oct. 11th; Festival Lecture on Oct. 13th, Beauty Pageant on Oct.16th; Festival float; Boat Regatta Ayo Olopon and Olosa. The  Gala night will hold in Badagry on the eve of the festival on Oct. 19th.
