Isiaka calls on IGP to ensure release of Senator Anisulowo

Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the last general election, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has condemned the abduction of Senator (Mrs) Iyabo Anisulowo by yet to be identified gunmen on her way from her farm in Imashai, near Ayetoro, Ogun State on Tuesday.

He, however, called on the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase to ensure her release and apprehend the kidnappers.

Isiaka, who disclosed that kidnapping is strange in Yewa land also called on all the vigilante groups in the state to join hands with the police and other security agencies to ensure that she is released alive to join her family.

He said, “As an Ogun State indigene, I am very sad that such heinous crime that we never experienced in all our towns and villages was gradually creeping in. What would be the motive of the kidnappers to have abducted a grandmother and one of the political pillars of Ogun State.

“I hope that Ogun State Government will  rise up to the challenges of insecurity in the state and curb the activities of kidnappers that seem to be on the loose in the state. If Mama Anisulowo could be kidnapped in such an environment, who is now safe in Ogun State? Isiaka asked.
