Richard Olorunrokan Adekola aka King Rokan. A native of Iboropa, Akoko North-East Local Government of Ondo State. King Rokan is the First Nigerian musician to perform at the White House with Bolu & The Roots of African Percussions & the first Nigerian to start a live band in Atlanta Georgia in 1996 and the first Nigerian artiste to release an album and a promotional video the same day in America.
Based on this achievement, the entertainment industry has come together to honor the music icon through a global music concert to celebrate his 20 Years Anniversary on stage. This will be a celebration tour, of a living music star who has impacted many with his style and genre of music, and also his kind humanitarian gesture to most Nigerian musicians who have good opportunity to perform in the United State especially Atlanta Georgia. He is counted amongst one of Nigeria’s best musical exports. hence the need for people around the world to celebrate the success of his music in Nigeria and the world.
The anniversary event train hope to bring together Nigeria's top music stars around the world to celebrate the success of music in Nigeria and the world. It will also bridge the gap between the old and the new music stars. Collaborate with organization and use the platform to promote brand images.
The event will spin through various major cities from Lagos to Akure in Nigeria, Atlanta in United State, London and Dublin.
