FIEF Students, Teachers Revel In Visit To Lagos House Of Assembly



Teachers and students of the First Islamic English Educational Foundation (FIEF) are still revelling the experience of their visit to the Lagos State House of Assembly..
The FIEF delegation visited the Assembly on Tuesday, 16th February, 2016 where they had the opportunity of witnessing legislative action for the first time. The House was fully on plenary for about four hours and it was quite an experience for the delegation especially the students.


After the plenary session which lasted for about four hours, the students and teachers took time to take photographs with the lawmakers and they later presented the school souvenirs to them.
Anisa Bakare, an SS 3 student stated that it was an unforgetable experience for her. "It was an unforgetable experience for me. One that will remain in my memory forever.," she said.
Another student, Abdul Wasi Salaudeen described the day as a red letter one. "It is an experience I will treasure for life. Having the opportunity to watch lawmakers making law life is indeed an unforgetable experience for me," the SS 2 student said.
For Akanbi Sobirah, an SS 1 student, it was a day she would always not like to forget. "It is quite an experience for me," she said.
The delegation was led by wife of the school proprietor, Hajia Mariam Mansur-Williams. Other teachers on the entoruage are: Messrs Atolagbe Salam, Obiora Solomon, Ajijolakeu Ahmad, Akpokenu Monday and Akpan Kingsley. The teachers were unanimous in their conclusion that it was a memorable day and an unforgetable experience.
