LANRE 'DODO'BALOGUN PUBLISHER OF POPULAR YORUBA MAGAZINE ALARIYA OODUA IS DEAD

According to E24-7,the publisher of Alariya Oodua, Lanre ‘Dodo’ Balogun is dead. Dodo, often referred to as the father of Yoruba entertainment journalism in Nigeria, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the age of 55.
 E24-7Magazine’s check revealed he was high in spirit as at this morning after he finished the production of his magazine, and he instructed staff to ensure early distribution to outstations. He passed on in his house at Sango, Ogun State.
Dodo, who hailed from Ogun State was a pioneer staff of Alaroye before he co-founded Akede Odua and later floated his outfit, Alariya Oodua, known for incisive interviews with top entertainers.
Dodo is survived by his wife and children.
