Mrs Aisha Muhamadu Buhari, wife of President Muhamadu Buhari is one woman who should be made a role model to most Nigeria girls, especially those in northern Nigeria. She hails from a region in Adamawa State where the girl-child education is very unpopular, her grandfather, Alhaji Mohammed Ribadu was the country's first defence Minister, married at the age of 19 but remained resolute and focused on her dream and vision (Beauty and Fashion)which she saw to completion.
She bagged a Master's Degree in International Affairs and Strategic Studies (MIASS) from the Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma and she is presently undertaking a counselling course on Co-Dependency in the United Kingdom.
Before all these degrees, and in pursuance of her dream, she obtained a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Fashion from The Carlton Institute of Beauty Therapy, Windsor, United Kingdom, specialising in Permanent Make Up, Mesotherapy and Micro Dermabrasion.
Still not feeling fulfilled, she went ahead and got another Certificate from a French Beauty School, Estheitique Academic in Dubai, United Arab Emirate (UAE) focusing on Japanese Gold, Facial and Tower-Folding Techniques.
Haven spent over fifteen (15) years in the Beauty industry, AMB works, teaches and mentors young ones on beauty and fashion and has trained, empowered and guided hundreds of nigerians in the profession.
She is the founder and Managing Director of Hanzy Spa and the Principal of Hanzy Beauty Institute, Kaduna and Abuja, a Resourse Person to National Basic Technical Education (NBTE) on Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology, and has participated in the curriculum development of Small Medium Enterprises for NBTE.
A devoted wife whose marriage of twenty five years has produced five children and a grandchild, Mrs Aisha Muhamadu Buhari is an advocate of women and girl-child education whose philosophy is "if the environment is safe, if there is no corruption in governance and public life, there would be enough resources in any nation to meet the important needs of the common people including those of women and the youth".
