Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos, has promised to construct all inner roads in Ijede, Igbogbo and Ikorodu area if elected the state governor in the February poll.
Ambode, who made the pledge on sunday 18 January 2015 during the party’s Lagos East mega rally held at the C & S Primary School, Ogolonto, assured of creation of more jobs for the unemployed youths, and urged the residents not to vote the PDP, saying “a PDP led government cannot guarantee the safety of lives and property.”
His words:

 “A government that cannot ensure the adequate protection of lives and property should not be voted in. Our children have been abducted in Chibok and they have not been rescued, is that the type of government we want? We are going to create more jobs, make life more comfortable for us, we should not vote for those who want to experiment but those with experience.”
