OYO PDP CONGRESS: STAKEHOLDERS CRY FOUL OVER SENATOR FOLARIN'S USE OF THUGS

The statement credited to the CHAIRMAN of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ad hoc delegates’ congress committee, which presided over Monday’s rescheduled ad hoc ward delegates congress in Oyo State, Dr Aliyu IdiHong, saying  that the exercise was 90 per cent successful,is currently generating a lot of controversy in the State.

Insiders told Metronews that the monday congress was hijacked by some thugs led by one dreaded Tokyo said to be working for Senator Teslim Folarin actually attacked party members in over 13 local government with cases of ambush and hijack of result sheets.

According to a State PDP official, "It is obvious that the party is not ready to win the state in the next Governorship election,because we were not told why the first congress was cancelled only for the next one to be hijacked by touts paid for by a certain Senator who is so desperate to grab the party ticket by all means. Let me state it categorically result sheets were snatched from party officials,we have it in good authority that the said Senator connived with ad hoc delegates congress committee to forge names of delegates,not only that whatever list they tender in Abuja is not the Oyo State authentic list because we know that both Senator Folarin and Dr. Aliyu IdiHong slept in the same hotel and even left for Abuja."

The party loyalists have promised to also storm Abuja to register their protest and set records straight,we know who we want,we know who is popular,if the an unpopular candidate is chosen we will not accept it because the party stands to be disgraced at the election one of the aggrieved party men told us.
