Omooba Adekunbi’s son tie the knot


Top socialite and one of the illustrious sons of Remo, Ogun State, Omooba Owodunn Adekunbi is set to turn Ogere and Ilisan Remo into a tourist center as the multimillionaire businessman has put finishing touches to the successful hosting of the wedding ceremony of his son, Prince Akorede Adekunbi to his bride, Adesola.

 Schedule for November 29, 2014, the big society wedding is billed to attract eminent personalities from all works of life including Ologere of Ogere, Oba J.P. Ogunbade, Alaperu of Iperu, Oba of Ilisan, government functionaries, friends and relatives of both families. 

“The talk of the town introduction and engagement ceremony which was held few weeks ago at the Ilisan family house of the bride is just a tip of the iceberg compared to what is being planned for the wedding ceremony as the families have left no stone unturned in ensuring a hitch free and high class ceremony for their children, friends and relatives. In view of this and in anticipation of a large turnout of guests, the spacious Ilisan Town Hall has been considered to accommodate guests for the reception after the church service billed for the Church of the Lord, Aladura, Ilisan ”, 
stated Chief Akin Williams, a close ally of Omooba Adekunbi. Williams also disclosed that “aftermath of the reception ceremony, the train will move to the Ogere Remo country home of Adekunbi for another grand finale ceremony where guests will be treated to the very best of Remo delicacies alongside other choice foods and drinks”.
