RAMADAN: SOJI AKIN-BANKOLE PREACHES PEACE, HUMILITY
Soji Akin-Bankole, a Labour Party House of Representatives aspirant, in Abeokuta South, Ogun State has urged Muslims to use the period of the Holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace in the country and re-dedicate themselves to the service of God and humanity.
In a statement to commemorate the start of the Islamic fasting by his Media Assistant, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji, Akin-Bankole said with prayers, the country would overcome the current security challenges facing it.
SOJ has fondly called by political admirers said the Holy month provides opportunity for increased worship, making of peace, strengthening of ties and doing away with bad habits.
While expressing optimism that Nigeria is on the brink of overcoming its challenges, Akin-Bankole urged religous scholars to avoid provocative statement that will undermine the unity and stability of the country.
SOJ therefore wished all Nigerians a successful and peaceful Ramadan season.
