APC Registration: Lawmaker Seeks Peaceful Exercise

The House of Representatives member for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 2, Honourable Hakeem Abiodun Muniru, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure a peaceful exercise devoid of rancour and bickering.

Muniru told journalists in Lagos that the exercise should be seen as a reunion exercise where members come together and take steps to move the country forward. "This is a family reunion and we should all come together and participate in this exercise which is a decisive step towards making Nigeria great," he said.
The lawmaker called on existing members of the party and those willing to join to participate in the exercise which will make them stakeholders in the APC. "This is an exercise that will give everyone a real sense of belonging hence I'm calling on everybody to register and become members of this great movement towards making Nigeria great once again," he said.
According to him, APC's leaders have shown that the party's main aim is to return the nation to its glorious past. "Our leaders have been sacrificing their time, resources and energy to make this great movement a reality because of their love for the development and growth of the country, the time has come for us to complement their efforts at reviving Nigeria and one step to do this is by registering and becoming members of the movement and participate fully in its activities," Muniru said.
He stated further that with the misrule and misuse of the nation's resources by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led Federal Government in the past 14 years of the nation's present democratic dispensation, the APC has come has the needed alternative to take Nigeria to the glory land.
Registration of members for APC starts nationwide on Wednesday and ends on 12th February, 2014.
