Gbenga Daniel, a Man of Honour and Mentor of Repute - Ogun NLC, TUC and NJC
The leadership of Ogun State Council of Nigeria Labour Congress, Trade Union Congress, Joint Negotiating Council and Labour Veterans has described the former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has a man of honor and a mentor of repute.
The labour leaders who were among the dignitaries that gathered at the Asoludero Court residence of the former governor in Sagamu, Ogun state gave the Governor a gift and also described him as the most labour and friendly governor whose indelible foot print is yet to be surpass by any other governor in the state.
Giving the sermon at the occasion, the Anglican Bishop of Remo Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Michael Fape described the Daniel's dynasty as consistent and faithful in their commitments toward God's work.
He admonish christians to be faithful in all their endeavors as God is prepared to favour and unleash HIS faithfulness unto those who worship and serve HIM diligently.
The wife of the Late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Yeye Oba Oodua , Chief H.I.D Awolowo rejoiced with the Daniel's family, she prayed that God should guide, protect and sustain the family.
Among the dignatories present at the occasion are the representative of Chief H.I.D Awolowo, Former Minister of Mines and Steel, Sarafa Tunji Ishola, former Commissioner for Information in the state, Shina Kawonise, former NLC Western Region Chairman, Com Niyi Osoba, Com Balogun who represented the State Chairman of NLC, Comrade Adebanjo, Com Adeegbe, politicians and good people of the state.
