AYEFELE SEEKS UNITED STATES' SUPPORT TO DEPORT DEFECTED BAND BOYS


Leading gospel tungba crooner, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, MON has urged the United States Homeland Security to track and deport three of his band members who defected at the tail-end of their six weeks tour of the United States.

In a mail sent to the United States department of Homeland Security, Ayefele urged the department to look for the defectors and act accordingly so as to serve as a lesson to others.
The defectors, according to a release signed by Ayefele’s publicist, David Ajiboye, are Ojoyido Adegbenga Ezekiel (Keyboardist), Solomon Olugbenga Motimoke (Vocalist) and Olusola Kayode Isaac (vocalist). “While Olusola Kayode Isaac defected at the LaGuardiala Airport, New York on Monday, 14th October on his way from Houston with three other members of the band, Ojoyido Adegbenga defected at the band’s hotel at Howard Johnson Inn on Rockaway Boulevard, New York on Tuesday, 15th October while the last defector, Solomon Motimoke (Yatty) defected from the band while still at Washington DC on 11th October.”
All other members of the band arrived the country amid cheers from the home fans.
The band left for a six weeks musical tour of the United States the tour saw them performing at Washington, Maryland, Baltimore, New York, Atlanta, Houston and Dallas respectively.
In a bid to take his music to another level, Ayefele has engaged the services of versatile producer, Shadare Agboola to produce his next album due to be released in December.
