Ikorodu Bank Robbery Suspects Sues Nigerian Police, Read Why

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria has adjourned till September 7, 2015 for hearing, a suit seeking an order of the court compelling the police to bring to court the four robbery suspects paraded in connection with the recent bank robbery in Ikorodu, Lagos.

The court adjourned the case to enable the Inspector General of Police and other respondents react to the suit filed by a Lagos-based lawyer, Olusegun Akanbi, on behalf of the four suspects.

Cruel Father Rapes Daughters And Step Daughter In Lagos

The police in Lagos have arrested a man, Ajiboye Oluwaseyi, for allegedly raping his two daughters ─ a six-year-old and a four-year-old ─ and his stepdaughter, 15, in the Lekki area of the state.

Our correspondent gathered that 37-year-old Oluwaseyi, who hails from Ondo State, was arrested on Wednesday, August 19, after his wife reported the matter to the police.

It was learnt that Oluwaseyi, who worked as a Lotto agent, had separated from his wife in December 2014.

Police Arrests Thieves Who Pretend To Be Masquerades

The Police in Nsukka yesterday arrested two men in masquerade costume in Ovoko Community, Nsukka LGA, Enugu State, for allegedly beating up a passenger on a commercial motorcycle and robbing him of N57,000.

A police source said policemen moved to the scene when the victim, Mr. Chinonso Ezewaji, reported the matter to Nsukka Police Area command and the two men were arrested.

Lagos State Govt Accuses Fashola Of Extravagant Spending

The project was completed by Deux Projects Limited according to a report published by the state government. The report, which was part of the awarded contracts by the Lagos State Tenders Board in 2013, was seen on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.

APC Slams Fayose, Says He's A Pathological liar

Ekiti state chapter of APC says Ayo Fayose has not achieved anything or concluded any project to his credit since assuming office 10 months asides conducting road shows and buying pepper and tomatoes in open markets to pose as a friend of the poor.

The state party stated this in a statement released by its Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun yesterday August 23rd. The party also accused Fayose of being a pathological liar.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has disowned Facebook Account in the name of the Commandant General Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu.

The Commandant General of NSCDC does not operate any Facebook account.  Therefore any facebook in the name of the officer is illegal, fake and fraudulent.
