SAA ups frequencies by up to 24% to key African destinations as demand soars



Johannesburg, 2 December 2014: South African Airways (SAA) today announced that it has commenced adding additional frequencies to its network which will substantially increase air services to some of its key African routes.

Automatic Tickets Tear Ogun APC Apart

The alleged plan by Ogun State governor, Senator, Ibikunle Amosun to give automatic tickets to some of his loyalists may have torn the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state apart.

Palpable tension has enveloped Amosun’s camp ahead of the party’s primaries for the aspirants of House of Assembly in the state which was scheduled for today (Tuesday) as some aggrieved members reportedly threatened to ditch the party.

Exclusive : Jega’s Plan To Print Election Materials Abroad Causing Ripples



The decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to print materials for the 2015 general election abroad is causing ripples within The Presidency and the economic management team.

The Commission under the chairmanship of Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega is believed to be finalizing arrangement to print and import all the materials needed for the general election, with a firm either South Africa or the United Kingdom as the likely beneficiary.

It can be an idea or a task, but is more likely to be one of the activities or events that have developed over the years specifically for the purpose of keeping an audience's attention. Their primary purpose should be to provide amusement, or generally draw us out of depressions. But right now in Nigeria, entertainers are finding more meaning to their calls. They are moving away from ‘entertaining’ us to aspiring to ‘leading’ us as they are joining politics.
